rock band: the game
We’re slowly but surely wrapping up our Christmas shopping…I know, I know - it’s not even December! I’m never on the ball like this. We purchased Guitar Hero III (with 2 guitars) for the kids, and I’m thinking about getting them Rock Band as well. It’s a Guitar Hero-ish game that has room for a guitar player, a drummer, and a singer. See that - 3 players in the game, and I have 3 kids. Perfect! My only issue is that the game requires a lot of “stuff”. You need the guitar, the drum kit, and the microphone. Unless I can use my Guitar Hero guitar with it, that means finding the money and space for more stuff.
I’m going to have to investigate further before making a decision.
My son is asking for Guitar Hero III, too.
I’m a bit reluctant given all the added stuff that needs to be purchased–but it seems to go that way with many systems.
Christmas isn’t getting any less expensive, is it?

A friend of mine was going to get Rock Band because his wife wanted to play, but he said that he could only find it for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Is it out for PlayStation 2??
Hubby wants Rock Band so badly. We don’t have a PS3 or Xbox 360. It’s supposed to be released for PS2 December 18th.
