Despite the name, Ami-Chan isn’t Japanese. She’s a Brit fast on her way to becoming a full fledged American, a mom, a blogger, a psychic, and too many other things to list here! She offers website design and can even read tarot cards. Now that’s what we call multi-dimensional!

Why do you blog? I started out blogging on LJ just chatting and keeping up with some friends, and then put the blog on my domain…initially just to see if I could install WordPress with the idea of using it just to keep my relatives back in England up to date with the goings-on of our life now that the munchkin was born. I felt it would be easier to just write blog entries than to be constantly sending mass emails that might be getting annoying, and also they wouldn’t have to try and fathom out livejournal to see what was going on.

What do you like best about blogging? I like being able to connect with others. It’s great to get comments from people when something from your life touches them in some way, that they can relate to you, and you to them. The different perspectives and the similarities. I really like all the people I’ve been meeting and getting to know. There’s a great community of people all around that I had no idea about until I started researching ways to make my blog better.
