supahstar saturday 5/5/07
Today we’re featuring a blogger who’s been with this meme since the start. Lisa from My Thoughts, Ideas, & Ramblings has participated in nearly every single Supahstar Saturday since I started doing it…that’s over 2 months of giving out link love to her fellow bloggers. Lisa’s blog covers a wide range of topics, from celebs to pregnancy to random bits of trivia.
Why do you blog? I blog, because I enjoy it. When I first started, it was to keep in touch with my friends and family back home. I am 4 hours away from them, and it is hard to keep in touch sometimes. This allowed them a glimpse into our everyday lives, and they were able to keep updated with what is going on with my daughter Madison. When they are this little, they grow and change so much that I liked to keep them updated in a more timely matter. Then last July I suffered a miscarriage. My blog turned into more a personal diary of how I felt. It gave me an outlet for all my emotions and feelings and frustrations. Now with this pregnancy, my blog has evolved yet again. I am able to give everyone a glimpse into our world and our excitement with the new baby. After I have the baby, I am sure I will be blogging about all the firsts he/she has.
What do you like best about blogging? This is an easy question. I love all of the wonderful people I have met. I have a whole world of online friends that I would never have met if I was not blogging.
