I’m really excited about a new Yahoo mail development. They announced this morning that they’ll be opening their web mail platform up to external developers…which means fun plugins, utilities, applications, and tools for us! In addition, Yahoo mail users will now receive unlimited storage starting in May.

To get people started, Yahoo is paying a $10 commission for each Yahoo mail plus account created from the referral of an APPROVED developer. I hope that free users will get to see and use some of the tools created, and I hope they they’re available for the old Yahoo mail, and not just Beta.
