what happens in vegas
When you think of Las Vegas, I’m sure that casinos and floor shows are the first thing that come to mind. Most of us probably think of Las Vegas as a tourist town, a town that makes it’s money with people coming to visit each year. But when you think about it, Las Vegas is a geek’s mecca in the making. All of those casinos? They’ve got slot machines to be services, security systems to be monitored and installed, and those floor shows require people to run soundboards and do the lighting. Many of the huge resorts require their own tech people for jobs as well, so if you’re a geek wanting a little sun and fun in your life, Las Vegas real estate may be worth a look. Lots of corporations are based in Las Vegas thanks to the Nevada incorporation and tax laws. One of the suburbs of Vegas, Henderson, may offer a quieter lifestyle off the strip, and personally, I’d go with one of the Las Vegas condos around town - low key, easy to take care of, and no yard to mow in the heat of the summer.
