using credit wisely
I’m all about using credit wisely. I used it the wrong way for so many years, and now I only use it correctly - go me! One of the things my husband and I have done is transfered balances to 0% interest cards. When the 0% promo rate is over, we move again. We saw a lot of money in APR and fees doing that. I came across a new site that helps you find other ways to save money on your credit cards: Savings Agent - Apply for a credit card that can save you money
I’m sure you probably get offers in the mail weekly - we do! How many times do you sit down and read the fine print? Those offers can be confusing with their terms, limits, fees, varying APR’s and teeny weeny print. The Savings Agent is a neat too because it compares offers for you - even the teeny weeny print. You create a debt profile for yourself, and the Savings Agent uses it’s database of over TWO HUNDRED credit card offers to find the one that will work best for you. That means, if you’re a “never use the card only for emegencies” type, you’ll probably get a different card than someone like me would get.
See those results? You even get a sample of how much you could save by finding the perfect credit card for your debt profile. People and their debt are all different, so why are you using a credit card that’s not personalized for your needs?
