crash course in vista
This weekend, I’m finally helping my mother with her new computer. Her new Dell came with Vista, and it will be my first experience with it, and obviously, hers as well. A true case of the blind leading the blind. I’ve heard good things from friends who have been able to play with Vista, so I have high hopes that there won’t be a steep learning curve.
If your workplace is switching to Vista, or you’re more than a part time user who mainly visits eBay, you’ll probably want a bit more training on this new operating system. Vista Training is available online now, and you can purchase a very extensive course that will provide you with 19 hours of step by step video training. That’s a LOT of Vista video! In addition, you get instructors quick reference notes, which means that once you’ve completed your Vista training, you can use this course to pass on your knowledge to others. This is perfect for a company switching to Vista, a school, or someone that plans on teaching computer courses.

…and I meant to add, Macs are Mother-proof. :o)
